 Lift Every Voice and Sing!
All Saints' offers uplifting music in the Episcopal (Anglican) tradition. Our chancel choir leads the congregation in worship from September until June. Our choir is easy-going and is composed of men and women who simply enjoy singing---no musical degrees or auditions necessary! We warmly welcome newcomers to join us for rehearsals each week at 9:30 (September-June) in the Church. Reaching Out to Our Community and Beyond
Individually and as a congregation, the people of All Saints' work to bring material and spiritual comfort to our neighbors in need. Many parishioners find their life's work in the human services professions; in addition, you'll find our members serving as volunteers in local hospitals, shelters, schools, and other charitable organizations. As a church community, we invite you to bring canned food goods each Sunday morning for the food pantry at St. Paul's Paterson.
Our Outreach Ministries offer special opportunities for service, including a preparing and serving a quarterly dinner to the Men's Shelter at St. Paul's in Paterson and sponsoring an annual baby shower for the women and children of North Porch Shelter. Our high school youth and adult leaders from the parish participate in local building projects for Habitat for Humanity, as well as in weeklong mission trips to areas needing help in other parts of the United States. In addition, we give generously for special projects such as Habitat for Humanity, blankets for the homeless, and missionary projects throughout the world.  Celebrating friendships and community…
The people of All Saints' are warm, friendly, and welcoming, and we always enjoy getting together to say hello to old friends and to welcome newcomers to our midst. Throughout the year, we offer several events simply for fellowship and relaxation, including a Fish and Chips dinner every spring during Lent, an autumn pasta dinner, a festive Christmas dinner and dance, informal cottage brunches, and an all-parish picnic in June at the end of the Church School year. We are famous for our lavish brunches after special church services, including our famous Easter Sunday Brunch. Barrier Free Commission Formed: With construction now taking place at All Saints’
a commission has been formed to tackle all aspects of our “barrier free” undertaking. What goals should we set, how will we “get the word out”, what barriers are we talking about, who will benefit from having access? By the very nature of this commission, we are non-exclusive and invite your participation.
The commission is made up of John Sullivan (chair), Sharon Anderson, Sue Morgan, Debbie Breen and Bill Viggiani. The next commission meeting will be held in St. Anne’s room at 7:30pm Monday, Sept. 13th.
